Buttons like 'Esc' & 'Delete' give negative vibes : Arindam Choudhary

In a recent seminar at IIPM's delhi campus chairman Arindam Choudhary has  proposed a totally new design for laptops which will be distributed to IIPM's students enrolling in 2012 batch . The new design has been a result of two years of rigorous resarch project which is quite close to my heart said Arindam who is chief mentor of this development.Arindam has done some really unexpected changes in the keyboard section which which might leave you head scratching but he has his own reason explaining the changes. In the new design few buttons like 'Esc' , 'Backspace' and 'Delete' have been renamed and the reason was 'these name produce negative vibes' . As students spent most of the time near their system such strong negtive words will hamper their will power .

When we asked him how you reached to this conclusion he told that his team has done an extensive 2 year research on 2009 MBA batch . At the time 2009 batch took admission we distributed half of the students normal design laptop and the other half were give modified keyboard laptops. In modified laptops 'Esc' button was renamed to 'Freedom' , 'Backspace' renamed to 'AboutTurn' and 'Delete' renamed to 'Clean' . We minutely observed them for whole curriculum of 2 years and the results were an eye opener . The first half with the normal laptops remained unplaced at the end of curriculum with 10 of them attempted for suicide and even failed there . But the second half did exceptionally well they excelled in all the fields and finally placed in big MNCs at an average package of 2 lakh per annum .
In his keynote speech Arindam seemed quite confidant for his new approach and he ended the seminar with slogan "Not far are those days when people will tell dare to think beyond IIPM "

Wishing him all the best for his out of bathroom idea .
